December -- Issue in Progress
Vol. 1 No. 1 (2026)Journal of Islamic Studies and Social Religion focuses on interdisciplinary studies that bring together Islamic thought and the dynamics of social reality. This journal views religion not merely as a normative text, but as a sociological entity that is lived and practiced by communities in their daily lives (lived religion). We publish empirical research and conceptual analyses related to the sociology of religion, Muslim responses to the tide of modernization, and the interaction of Islamic teachings with culture, public institutions, and social diversity.
